Pune Correspondent :- In a major development aimed at strengthening and accelerating electricity supply in the Katraj area, the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has officially approved the division of the Katraj division, leading to the establishment of Tilak Nagar Power Substation and Shivsrushti Substation.
This decision is a significant relief for residents of Tilak Nagar, Sukhsagar Nagar, Rajs Society, Sai Nagar, and Gokul Nagar, who have been facing persistent power-related issues.
The proposal was actively pursued by MLC Yogesh Tilekar, senior BJP leader from Hadapsar Assembly Constituency, who raised the demand with Maharashtra’s Energy Minister and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. After consistent follow-up, the request has now been granted.
MLC Tilekar expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the State Government and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for fulfilling this important public demand.
